I really like the ideas in this article but can’t seem to come to terms of radio buttons and checkboxes looking the same. What if user “selects” two choices quickly thinking it is a multi-select and his/her first choice was really their “top” choice.

Even tho this is small use case I feel like this outweighs the visual benefit of having both components look the same.
